A former Ladies European Tour star, she is now one of the country’s leading golf coaches, based at Cabot Highlands, near Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland.
This is by far the most beautiful and playable course!! The detail in the layout and blend with nature is exquisite. The greenkeeper and staff should be commended! We had the honour to meet Gillian Stewart and what a lady! She taught us some links shots which benefitted us since!!

After an outstanding career in amateur golf, which included three Scottish Women’s Championship titles and two Curtis Cup appearances, Gillian turned professional in 1985 and joined the Women’s European Tour. She won her first Tournament played as a professional and quickly established herself as one of the stars of the Tour. Her four Tour titles were the pinnacles of a playing career based on an extremely high level of consistency, evidenced by the fact that she still holds the record for the most consecutive cuts made.
Gillian has been a winner throughout her career and during this time she gained a great understanding of how the golf swing works and how it should be taught. With this insight, allied to her enquiring mind and natural communication skills, Gillian has evolved into one of the finest coaches in the country. She is passionate about her teaching and is available to coach at Cabot Highlands on an individual, group or corporate basis. Local and visiting golfers alike are welcome.
