Neuro Learning for Golf with Michael Hebron
Flew to Dublin, Ireland last week and enjoyed two great days of learning at the latest Neuro Learning for Golf Instructional clinic. The founder of Neuro Learning for Golf, American PGA Master Professional Michael Hebron, is one of the most respected coaches in the international golf community. Michael brought with him, once again, Susan Berdoy-Meyers, an outstanding professional in her own right, as his co-presenter.
This was the third time I have attended one of their clinics and each time I have been re-energised and come away with new insights. Fantastic stuff once again from these two. They gave a master class in how to coach in ways that people truly learn. Their approach is so simple but so effective.
‘How do we go from not knowing to knowing?’ It’s the key question in coaching. How do people learn – how do we present information in a brain compatible format so that learning can take place? Michael Hebron has researched this question more than any other golf professional I know and is now sharing his knowledge for the benefit of others.
Since attending my first seminar back in 2009 at The London Club I have drastically cut my ’technical’ instruction to my pupils and they love it. Results have been extraordinary and I’m looking forward to sharing my newly acquired insights with my pupils in the next few weeks.
I’d like to thank Michael and Susan for introducing me to an alternative, more effective way of helping people improve and enjoy the game.
